Since 2021, Domain has run interactive webinars on user interface design for participants across six continents. Each session is a working conversation, not a recording.
Domain is a live-first platform. Every session runs in real time — participants ask questions mid-demonstration, instructors adjust pacing based on chat, and the screen share is the whiteboard.
Instructors review participant work during the session — decisions get explained in context, not in post-production.
Sessions repeat across different hours so participants from Vancouver to Vilnius can attend a live slot, not a replay.
The curriculum covers layout systems, colour contrast ratios, component states, and accessibility — nothing outside that scope.
Sessions cap at 40 participants. Instructors can read the room, answer every question, and keep discussion meaningful.
Three people keep Domain running. They design the curriculum, produce the broadcasts, and make sure participants leave with something they can apply the next day.
Darya spent eight years as a product designer before moving into education. She writes the session outlines and decides which tools and patterns actually belong in the curriculum versus which just look good in a portfolio.
Tomáš handles everything that makes the broadcast reliable — stream quality, interactive polling, screen share fallbacks, and making sure no session starts with a blank screen and awkward silence.
Priya coordinates scheduling across time zones, manages participant onboarding, and tracks which topics get revisited most often — then feeds that data back into how future sessions are structured.
